I started a group on cafeMom called Autism,mercury poisoning and everything in between. In only 2 years we have almost 3000 members who I mentor and try to help. I have also run my own Charity in Atlanta called grateful Bread. I made all of the food and we fed people that would normally have gone hungry twice a week. We were able to feed over 20,000 meals in 6 years. |

I've always prayed that if God would help me out with Alec, I would help other families dealing with autism. God, I believe, led us to biomedical treatments via "Facing Autism" and the Charlotte (NC) STAR group. |

Diagnosed autism. Lack of speech, social issues, many tantrums in toddler years. Now doing great and mainstreamed (and at grade level academically) in second grade.
