Why I became a
Rescue Angel: |
When my son was diagnosed, I felt alone and lost. I looked for someone..at that point anyone to help me get started on helping my son to do better. Right now, my son is doing SO much better and I feel with guidence we would have been on that path so much quicker. I do not profess to know everything about autism and I would be leery of someone who said they did, but I definitely to know a lot more than I did starting out. I believe that I can help someone who needs help, to point them in the right directions and to give my insight of what our journey has been. |

We just have to work hard with Jack, and he has to work harder. I do listen to alot of Webinars but I am a firm believer in bio-medical help, it has saved our son...i just can give my story of HOPE. I do have alot of connections here in Las Vegas as far as support groups, F.E.A.T and TACA. My husband is the brain when it comes to the school district & Advocacy~ GI issues etc, I know and implement a GF/CF & SCD....I'm a mom OF TWINS~ I do the cooking and organizing, keeping track of Tutor schedules etc...etc...(hard work) my son is on the spectrum his twin sister, Scarlett, being NT.
My biggest strength is encouragement to parents that autism is treatable and they can get better. Our son Jack was diagnosed moderate to severe 4 months AFTER we started treating him. At 22 months he was considered severe.
I never stop, I WILL ALWAYS fight and encourage other families to FIGHT hard too. The book's are out there, they all say the same thing, autism is treatable, kids are recovering, with biomed. It's hard but it works. |

With the growing rate of autism, I know what the fear and pain is like, but I have a boy that is close to managed recovery now at 3 1/2 years old....still need a little more ABA and fine tuning with our wonderful DAN! doctor but he is doing terrific~
to do my part and pay it forward for a little while and to pass the reins if needed. |

Pretty much regression/Classic autism. Diarrhea, loss of words, loss of eye contact, isolation from family, stimming, hand flapping, tip-toe walking, lots and lots of diarrhea for so long. |
| Helpful Therapies: |
DAN! protocol, GF/CF/SF diet and supplements. OT/sensory intergrated (a biggie), speech, MB12 and HBOT, chelation spray for heavy metals after testing. DAN! protocol and community therapy for 6 months everyday then later I was able to receive funding for ABA. As we treated the symptoms then we incorporated the ABA. |
