Hi this is Dorangela from Two Prince Bakery Theater. Now that February is here, we should start to think about Valentine’s Day and all the special people in our lives. I have always loved Valentine’s Day and now even more so that I have my two cute little cherubs to celebrate it with! I know it can be a challenge for parents and adults in general to create beautiful little treats for Valentine’s Day for someone who is both gluten free and casein free. Well look no further…do I have an adorable treat for you today!
These beautiful and delicious Valentine’s treats are simple to make and everyone will love them whether they have food allergies or not! First I use our favorite gluten free and vegan chocolate sandwich cookies, Kinnikinnick Kinnitoos, yes long name but delicious cookies! They taste just like their popular counterpart! Then you will need some vegan white chocolate chips, there are various brands you can find online, and some seasonal heart sprinkles.
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second increments using 50 % power (usually takes one minute) using a shallow bowl, pour melted chocolate in bowl and dip the cookie til it is completely covered, quickly place on parchment paper and top with sprinkles. I let mine dry for at least one hour or until chocolate hardens! Yummy!
Once dried I placed each one of these little beauties on a Valentine Day’s themed cupcake liner and they are ready to go into a bakery box! You could also put them inside individual glassine bags and tie with a lovely ribbon to give to all of your sweeties! So now that you have this gluten free and casein free Valentines Treat idea you are totally ready to treat those you love whether they have allergies or not! For more gluten free casein free treats I would love for you to come visit me over at Two Prince Bakery Theater! Happy Valentine’s Day!!
