Dedicated to Providing Compassion, Understanding, and Care – Dr. Allen T. Lewis

Even before the time a child is diagnosed with Autism, parents are looking for hope, compassion, understanding and accurate information to help them with the care of their child.  Being a father of a child who was diagnosed with autism, I know how parents can find themselves alone and uncertain.   This is why I greatly appreciate Generation Rescue’s mission of providing hope backed up by action with such great tools like an easy to navigate and informative website, the parent mentorship Rescue Angel program and the Rescue Family grant program.   At our practice, we are deeply dedicated to providing compassion and understanding combined with effective and affordable care for our patient families.  I am thankful that Generation Rescue is able to help identify families in need and am honored to be part of the Rescue Family grant program.

Allen T. Lewis, M.D. is board certified in pediatrics with 22 years of experience in general pediatrics and the integrative management of children with learning, mood and behavior problems. His focus on integrative medicine was born from the need to help his son diagnosed with autism in 2001. He attended the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed his Pediatric Residency at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Utah. Following ten years of general pediatrics in Salt Lake City, Utah and Billings, Montana, he served for seven years as the Medical Director of the Pfeiffer Treatment Center in Warrenville, Illinois focusing on Targeted Nutrient Therapy for biochemical imbalances in children and adults.

Dr. Lewis founded Integrative Pediatrics of Ohio to focus on the integrative management of the biochemical, nutritional, gastrointestinal and immune imbalances that often underlie the symptoms of Autism, ADHD, PANDAS/PANS, depression, bipolar disorder and other learning or behavioral disorders. He has found Targeted Nutrient Therapy, Nutragenomics, HBOT, and GUNA Homeopathy to be particularly effective strategies to help patients achieve greater wellness. His goal of care is to approach each patient and their needs individually and in context of their family situation, using a patient’s innate wisdom as guidance. Integrative Pediatrics of Ohio is dedicated to providing safe, effective and affordable care with an emphasis on patient and family support throughout the entire care process.
