ShoeDazzle is pleased to announce their second annual partnership with Jenny McCarthy for their “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity.” McCarthy has designed a black platform peep-toe pump with stud detailing named “Insatiable.” All profits from the sales of the shoe will benefit Generation Rescue (www.generationrescue.org), an organization dedicated to recovery for children with autism spectrum disorders by providing guidance and support for medical treatment to directly improve the child’s quality of life for all families in need.
“Insatiable” features a black platform peep toe with silver studded heel and bright blue insole. The shoe is available today, April 9th exclusively at ShoeDazzle.com in honor of Autism Awareness Month.
Jenny McCarthy has been a devoted advocate for autism awareness and treatment since her son, Evan, was diagnosed in 2005. She serves as the president of Generation Rescue, has written a book, and dedicates much of her time to traveling the country to promote the cause.
“I loved working with ShoeDazzle last year to create the ‘Fearless’ pump. It was a creative way to raise funds for Generation Rescue and bring attention to Autism, a cause close to my heart” says McCarthy. “I hope ShoeDazzle clients love my second shoe, ‘Insatiable,’ as much as I do!”
“We are thrilled to have Jenny McCarthy be the first to annualize our Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity,” said Deborah Benton, Chief Operating Officer, ShoeDazzle. “We admire Jenny’s work with Generation Rescue and continued support for Autism Awareness.”
In addition to donating 100% of the profits from the sale of the shoe to Generation Rescue, with McCarthy’s participation, ShoeDazzle introduces an additional donation component – for each new client that joins ShoeDazzle using the special code “JENNY,” ShoeDazzle will make an additional donation of $5 to Generation Rescue between April 9th and May 9th.
ShoeDazzle launched its first cause-marketing campaign in fall 2009. Prior to McCarthy’s shoe release, ShoeDazzle partnered with Perez Hilton, LaLa Anthony, Carmen Electra, Carson Kressley, singer Mel B and actresses Kristen Bell, Kristin Cavallari, Kristin Chenoweth, Jennie Garth, and Denise Richards and for their “Celebrity Shoe Design Program for Charity.”
