My son Cameron use to get so upset, and I knew it was because he was trying to communicate and wasn’t able to convey he needs. He used to just cry. Since being on the GFCF diet, we’ve noticed that Cameron will respond and look when his name is called. Cameron also using his PECS cards to communicate. He did not consistently communicate prior to GFCF. Now Cameron will grab a picture and give it to me to request his needs. Cameron is directing us to other areas that he does not have a card to describe the need. For example, Cameron will now go to the fridge, take out his rice milk and hand it to me. He is babbling more and also saying a few new words. He says baby, bear, mom, dad, eat, drink and when not using PECS, he is also signing. Today he couldn’t find his card for drink so he signed it. I feel like my baby is starting to open up. I can’t thank the grant and Generation Rescue team enough. And look forward to our exciting future being GFCF 🙂 Thank you!
