AUTISM. unite. challenge. conquer.
March 14th the journey begins, as Adam Biel sets out from Ushuaia, Argentina to break the Pan America highway world record. Over the course of 100 days Adam and crew will make their way from the bottom of one hemisphere to the top of another, finishing in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
This journey is being seen as the hardest individual cycling feat in more than a decade, and will not come easy. It is the equivalent of cycling 6 Le Tour de France's in 5 Tour de France's time without any rest days. To some it is an attempt at the near impossible in the same way that running a 4-minute mile was "impossible."
Traveling over 2 continents, 14 countries and 14,000 miles, Adam and crew will face harsh weather and road conditions. During this journey, Cycle Pan-America will be using the ride to propel a $1.4 million dollar fundraising campaign in Canada and the USA.
When: March 14th to June 23rd, 2012.
