| | My daughter Lauren was diagnosed with severe autism in June 2003 at the age of 2.10 years. We had struggled with specialists for years prior to this when we thought "something was not quite right" with Lauren. Specialists shrugged their shoulders and referred us to the next specialist including neurologists and audiologists. When we finally found a competent doctor to confirm her diagnosis, my family was devastated beyond belief as we worried about the future of our sweet daughter and her 2 month old sister. We didn't know much about autism at that time, but we knew we needed to act fast to save the lives of our two daughters. I often believe that Lauren's diagnosis was made more difficult a few years back for the simple fact that autism affected more boys than girls. | | Lauren was born a beautiful and healthy child who slowly started having serious developmental issues including loss of speech at 13 months of age. She was delayed in every milestone including walking at 17 months. Before she was diagnosed, we tried the typical routes - speech therapy, OT, and PT with little progress. When she was diagnosed, we immediately started doing the GFCF diet with both our children, started healing her gut, started intense ABA therapy, and STOPPED vaccinating BOTH children. A year later,as I continued my quest to find a cure for Lauren, I was blessed to hear Dr.Buttar speak at the Autism One conference about a chelator called TD-DMPS in 2004. It was also at the Autism One Conference that a hair metals specialist confirmed my daughter was indeed mercury poisoned. She wasalmost four at the time, and was still entirely non-verbal. | | We began chelating Lauren with TD-DMPS in October 2004 at the age of 4.2months. Her progress has been fantastic! Three months into chelation, she was excreting elevated levels of antimony, arsenic, and cadmium. She also began speaking at an acquisition rate of a word a day. At 6 months of chelation, she showed elevated levels of antimony, bismuth, beryllium cadmium, arsenic, and lead. She also showed mercury in a stool test for the very first time since beginning chelation. | | Today, we are still chelating Lauren with TD-DMPS, as well as supporting her immune system with transfer factor, probiotics and anti-fungals, and many vitamins and minerals including zinc and B12. Her eye contact has improved dramatically since last October, and she is interacting for the very first time with her sister and neighbors. Her receptive and cognitive understanding has also increased along with language. After watching her over these past two years and seeing how she has responded to many interventions, I have no doubt that my daughter was poisoned by the mercury in her vaccines. I will continue down this path with her until every last microgram is gone from her body and brain. In the end, my daughter WILL have the last WORD. |
