Cleansing, Detoxification and Rejuvenation Step 7 of “The Wagner Way to Wellness”

In this article I want to start the discussion of cleansing, detoxifying and rejuvenation. Not only for the colon and bowels but for the entire body. This article will establish all the areas in which we need to cleanse and renew ourselves.  Then in following articles I will give a detailed discussion on how to detoxify, cleanse, purify and rejuvenate each of those separate areas. Each type of cleansing is just as important as the other area and each need to be attended to every year, on a regular basis, not just once but continuously. You don’t take just one bath, or dust your house once, or do one oil change for the car, instead you have a regular maintenance schedule that if followed properly, the body, house and car can last a long time. But if ignored they will become filthy, fall apart and not service you very well. So I recommend that you establish a maintenance schedule for the internal body similar to the maintenance schedule you have for your home and car. We know that in order to be clean and healthy, we must cleanse the outside of our bodies everyday or we get funky pretty fast. But we rarely clean the inside. That would be like washing and waxing the outside of your car everyday but never lifting the hood and doing an oil change or tune up. It would shine, but before long, the car would have all kinds of problems, fall apart and stop running. If you lived in a palace and washed and painted your mansion everyday but never dusted the inside, eventually this palatial home would become a cob-web city, even if you were a clean and tidy person. Because the majority of our nation has never done a Full Body, Full On® cleansing and rejuvenation program, most of us have become just that, a Cob-Web City inside.  

Most of the time people are doing great things for the exterior of the body such as washing, scrubbing, brushing the external body, applying creams, lotions, gels, sprays, soaking in hot tubs, saunas and steam baths, getting massages, manicures, pedicures and our hair done, all of which are necessary and very healthy, but never attending to the internal. Its time all of us take responsibility of our personal health and lift our own hoods and do some oil changes and a tune up. Most of the population needs to do a serious personal overhaul. Everyone should develop a cleansing and rebuilding maintenance program like you do your car. Every year we do an oil change on our vehicles every three to ten thousand miles and then an annual tune up. We dust our houses frequently and seasonally a spring housing cleaning. We need to set aside some time to service our bodies and personally do the equivalent of an oil change several times a year and then at least once a year an annual tune up/overhaul.  If you would do this, you will never allow toxins and poisons to build up and become a breeding ground for disease.



This maintenance program should not only be for the colon but for the entire body. A system to detoxify the colon, cleanse the entire alimentary canal, flush the organs, rid the body of lymphatic waste, trim excess fat and weight, cleanse the arteries, blood vessels and capillaries and re-establish the peristalsis, the wavelike motions in our colon, esophagus and cardiovascular system. If the right front tire goes flat, the whole car comes to a halt. If the radiator blows up or you throw a rod, your engine will not run. Every working part of the car has an influence on the whole vehicle.

The same goes for the human vehicle. If you break a leg, you’re hobbling around and it’s hard to get anywhere. If your lungs collapse, you cannot breathe, and life will cease to exist. If your organs are full of waste, you can’t filter and if your heart stops beating you are done for. So every part of the body affects all other parts making all equally important.

That is why it is necessary to attend to the whole being.
