The new school season is beginning and the folks at Generation Rescue have asked me to review with everyone my philosophy for overall health to make sure we are all prepared and ready to go.
Step I – Attitude
Always try to keep a positive attitude, be prepared, make good choices and keep up. Persistence and consistency is the key. Do your best not to violate a successful action. When something is working, stick to it.
Step II – Exercise
Remember the rule is “Use it or Lose it.” It is best to keep the body active to keep the bowels moving, the blood flowing and the joints mobile. Otherwise the body tends to function poorly. I always suggest that everyone do at least 30 minutes of sustain movement daily. That could be merely walk for 30 minutes. Any activity like running, swimming, dancing or spinning will work. Exercising every day is best. Come as close to this as you can.
Step III – Hydration
Our bodies are primarily made up of water and without enough filtered/purified water our bodies dry up. We can’t flush the poison, toxins, fatty tissues, uric acid, lymphatic waste, have good skin, hair, nails or good bowel movements. We are all flowers that need to be watered, otherwise like a flower we will turn color, wilt, get wrinkly and stop working. I recommend drinking a gallon of water a day. Don’t try and do this overnight. Add a glass of water to the amount of water you are current consuming and keep adding on a gradient until you reach a gallon. Then be consistent. You will notice a great improvement in all aspect of bodily functioning.
Step IV – Smart Food Choices
There are 4 unique blood types, “O”, “A”, “B”, and “AB”. Each has a different chemical makeup. There is evidence that consuming the wrong foods for your blood type may be the contributing factor to many of our health issues. I recommend following my “Guide to Smart Food Choices” http://www.drbo.com/books according to your personal blood type, when choosing your foods. You should notice a huge improvement in your well-beingness
Step V - Smart Food Combining
Our bodies were not met to eat all food groups at once. Each food group digests differently. Each group uses a different area to digest, different enzymes, different digestive juices and has a different transient time. So if you eat everything together at once you create chaos and the body is at constant war. You get gas, indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux, bloat, distention, constipation or diarrhea, fatigue, depression, lack of energy, blemishes etc. We shouldn’t have any of this. But most people have some, if not a lot of this. We think it is just life and aging because everyone else has it too. No, it just that everyone else is also eating incorrectly causing the same issues. Change and most, if not all of this, will correct itself.
In my “Guide to Smart Food Choices” are charts for each blood type on smart food combing. Basically, you have two types of meals. Either a fruit meal, which you always eat alone, or a vegetable meal, raw salad and cooked veggies, and add either a protein or a starch but don’t eat them together. Have a protein at one meal and the starch at another meal but avoid eating them together. Wrong food combining is one of the major contributors to our ill health issues.
Step VI – Essential Supplements
There are five essential supplements, your body’s fuel, that everyone needs every day. Otherwise we are running on empty. Step VI – Cleansing
It is very important to wash the outside of our bodies regularly and it just as important to cleanse the insides of our bodies regularly also. An ideal perfect working body has a bowel movement after each time we eat. Most people our irregular. But if we follow the other steps, exercise, drink water, eat the right foods and combine them correctly, take our supplements along with fiber & cleansing herbs on a regular basis our bodies will be regular in its elimination. Then during the year we should detoxify our bodies and flush out the debris in our liver, gall bladder and kidneys. Think of quarterly oil changes and an annual tune up like we do our cars. If you maintain a healthy maintenance program on our body it will serve us well and last a long time, but we have to assist it. It can’t do it without help.
Be prepared, consistent and persistent. If you implement these 7 steps into your lifestyle you will be able to correct health issues, regain youth and vitality, feel great and remain great for as long as you are here. All these steps are important for the whole family to be at our best at all times and to be strong and able to handle all that life presents to us.
