We are excited to announce Generation Rescue’s 7th annual Rock the Spectrum event. This years event will again be presented by Summerwind’s Resort.  The local support of businesses and individuals has made this family friendly outing a success while creating a long term impact on the Branson community.

Rock the Spectrum 2018 will take place on Saturday, September 22.  The Branson Landing will host the event and entertainment  is sponsored by Excursions  The Purple Xperience, (the most entertaining and fun five-piece Prince tribute show hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota) Lindsay with Issues, 90’s cover band The Mixtapes & DJ  Hadenwood.  Each year Rock the Spectrum succeeds and expands scope with new features to meet attendees expectations.

  • Free General Admission to the outdoor Concert
  • Face Painting, Bounce Houses, Disney Characters & The Live Mermaids for all the kids to enjoy.
  • Beer & Margarita garden for all adults 21 and over to enjoy

Brent & Cristal Hedrick created this wonderful event in honor of their goddaughter Shaylee.   It has quickly become one of the most exciting events in the Branson community.  2018 marks their tenth year of holding an annual event for the community with “A Day for Shay & Pals” & Rock the Spectrum, raising awareness and medical treatment support for families affected by autism.

The event’s mission and personal goal of the Hedrick’s has always been to educate & inspire attendees to understand autism, while raising funds to provide medical treatment grants for families.  In addition, this year’s event will also benefit the Branson Parks & Recreation Department. The largest portion of funds raised from Rock the Spectrum will help pay for the recently completed sensory inclusive playground at the Branson RecPlex. A major step on the path to Branson being designated as an “Autism Friendly” community.

This event is free and open to the public, so please join us for a day full of family-friendly fun!
